Carolyne Roehm's writing mission is to teach others how to capture and create beauty in their lives, in both the everyday and out of the ordinary.
After studying in Paris with the famed florist Henri Moulie, Carolyne wrote her first of twelve books, A Passion for Flowers, which is now viewed as “the bible for flower designing,” according to House & Garden magazine. Roehm followed up that best-selling book with a series of seasonal journals covering floral design, tabletops, food, and gardening: Summer Notebook, Fall Notebook, Winter Notebook, and Spring Notebook. Then came her much-anticipated book on entertaining, At Home with Carolyne Roehm, and two further interior titles - A Passion for Blue & White, and A Passion for Interiors. In 2012 she released the iconic Flowers, and her most recent book, an ode to her Connecticut garden, At Home in the Garden was launched in 2015.
A vocal fan of her books, Oprah Winfrey, says “She’s a diva, she’s the master, she’s my mentor.”
