When I first started thinking about At Home in the Garden, I was very conscious of making it different from Flowers. Around this time I had taken my first watercolor classes, where I of course used flowers as my practice models. This led me to the idea of showing the evolution of my life with flowers, and how they had completely permeated my world.
I selected flowers as the most important element of the garden, designed the garden, planted the garden, arranged the flowers for my homes, photographed them, and now I am painting them. This has turned into something I truly love, and I particularly enjoy the diversity of painting in different scales.
After many inquiries and encouragement from you, my readers, a selection of these watercolors are now available as prints and note cards.
The prints are in limited editions, and are personally signed by me on the front. I am offering an assortment of sizes because different spaces have their own needs. They are sold unframed, leaving you to add your own particular style.
The prints are printed by art photography printers on the highest quality art paper from Germany. They are shipped in a crush proof tube in a cellophane envelope for each size.
Once again thank you all for your encouragement in pursuing this new project. —Carolyne
